The Story Behind the Brand

Simply Rustic Jewelry started with a love of making jewelry that is colorful, simple, and a little imperfect. I wanted to create pieces that felt handmade—not mass-produced or overly polished—and that could add color and personality without being difficult to wear.

I make each piece myself, one at a time, using gemstones, crystals, glass beads, wire, and other materials that catch my eye. Because every piece is handmade, small variations are part of what give each design its character.

My goal is simple: to create jewelry that feels unique, approachable, and easy to make your own.

What Makes Each Piece Unique

I love working with color. Some pieces are bright and bold, while others are simple and subtle, but everything is one of a kind.

Natural stones have their own colors, patterns, inclusions, and variations, and handmade wirework can have small differences from piece to piece. Those little differences are part of what I love about handmade jewelry—you’re getting something made individually, not something produced thousands of times by a machine.

My Crafting Process

Most of my designs start with color. I might find a stone, crystal, or glass bead I love and start experimenting with different beads, wire, or chain until the combination feels right.

Every piece is then assembled and finished by hand by me. I don't try to make handmade jewelry look factory-perfect. Small variations in wire wrapping, stones, beads, and placement are part of the character of the finished piece.

That's one of my favorite things about handmade jewelry—each piece has a little personality of its own.
