Gilded Shadows Necklace - Glass Bead Pendant Necklace

This handmade necklace features a smooth glass bead wrapped with gold-colored copper wire and paired with a gold-colored stainless steel chain. The glass bead adds subtle shine, while the warm gold tones create a simple design with understated metallic detail.

The 13 mm bead creates a small focal point without making the necklace overly bold, while the wire wrapping adds handmade detail. Because glass beads can have slight variations in color, reflections, and finish, each handmade necklace has its own unique character.

Size & Fit

This necklace measures 16 inches. This is a choker necklace, which will typically fall around the base of your neck to just above the collarbone area, depending on your neck size and shape.

The glass bead measures approximately 13 mm, with an additional 1.3 cm bail connecting it to the chain. Keep the bead and bail in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since together they extend approximately 2.6 cm below the 16-inch chain.

Although glass has some weight to it, this bead is relatively small at 13 mm. It adds some weight to help the pendant hang vertically without pulling the necklace downward as much as a larger or heavier pendant would.
