This handmade necklace features a small natural carnelian stone pendant paired with a silver-colored stainless steel chain. The warm orange and reddish tones of the carnelian contrast with the cool silver coloring for a simple design that adds a noticeable touch of color without feeling overly bold.

The smaller pendant gives the necklace a delicate, understated look while still allowing the natural coloring and variation of the carnelian to stand out. Because carnelian is a natural stone, variations in color, shape, and pattern give each handmade necklace its own unique character.

Size & Fit

This chain measures 18 inches. This is a princess-length necklace, which will typically fall around the collarbone area, depending on your neck size and shape.

The carnelian pendant measures approximately 1 cm, with an additional 1.25 cm bail connecting it to the chain. Keep the pendant and bail in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since together they extend approximately 2.25 cm below the 18-inch chain.

Although carnelian is a natural stone and has more weight than lightweight materials such as resin or polymer, this pendant is quite small. Because of its 1 cm size, it adds only a small amount of weight and should not pull the necklace downward as much as a larger stone pendant would.
