The blue chalcedony pendant measures approximately 2 × 1.5 cm, with an additional 1 cm bail connecting it to the chain. Keep the pendant and bail in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since together they extend approximately 3 cm below the 18-inch chain.

Because the pendant is made from natural stone, it has more weight than a lightweight metal, resin, or polymer pendant. This can help pull the necklace downward slightly and allow the pendant to hang more vertically.
