This necklace measures 18 inches. This is a princess-length necklace, which will typically fall around the collarbone area, depending on your neck size and shape.

The Montana agate pendant measures approximately 4 × 2.5 cm. Keep the size of the pendant in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since the pendant extends below the 18-inch chain.

Because this is a larger solid natural stone pendant, it has more weight than the smaller stone pendants or lightweight resin and polymer pendants. And because of its size it had a considerable weight.  However, the necklace does have a thicker chain which helps with balance.  All this taken it to account, it will have some weight to it.
