This handmade necklace features a natural carnelian pendant wrapped with antique bronze-colored copper wire and paired with an antique bronze-colored chain. The warm orange and reddish tones of the carnelian complement the darker bronze coloring for a rustic-inspired design with rich natural color.

The 2.5 × 1.5 cm pendant creates a noticeable focal point without being overly large, while the wire wrapping adds handmade detail. Because carnelian is a natural stone, variations in color, translucency, shape, texture, and pattern give each handmade necklace its own unique character.

This necklace measures 18 inches. This is a princess-length necklace, which will typically fall around the collarbone area, depending on your neck size and shape.

The carnelian pendant measures approximately 2.5 × 1.5 cm, with an additional 1.75 cm bail connecting it to the chain. Keep the pendant and bail in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since together they extend approximately 4.25 cm below the 18-inch chain.

Because the pendant is made from natural stone, it has more weight than a lightweight resin or polymer pendant. At 2.5 cm, it adds enough weight to help the pendant hang vertically and may pull the chain downward slightly without having the same weight as a much larger stone pendant.
