This handmade necklace features a polished natural obsidian pendant paired with a silver-colored stainless steel chain. The deep black coloring of the obsidian contrasts with the cool silver tones for a simple design with a bold focal point.

This necklace measures 18 inches. This is a princess-length necklace, which will typically fall around the collarbone area, depending on your neck size and shape.

The obsidian pendant measures approximately 3 × 2 cm, with an additional 1.2 cm bail connecting it to the chain. Keep the pendant and bail in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since together they extend approximately 4.2 cm below the 18-inch chain.

Because this is a solid natural stone pendant, it has more weight than a lightweight resin or polymer pendant. At 3 × 2 cm, it has enough weight to pull the chain downward slightly and help the pendant hang more vertically.
