The artisan glass bead measures approximately 11 mm, with an additional 1 cm bail connecting it to the chain. Keep the bead and bail in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since together they extend approximately 2.1 cm below the 18-inch chain.

Although glass has some weight to it, this bead is relatively small at 11 mm. It adds only a small amount of weight and should not pull the necklace downward as much as a larger or heavier pendant would.
