This handmade necklace features a natural blue chalcedony stone wrapped in gold-colored wire and paired with a delicate gold-colored stainless steel chain. The soft blue stone contrasts with the warmer gold tones for a simple design that adds color without feeling overly bold.

The smaller stone and 2 mm chain give the necklace a more delicate look, while the wire-wrapped setting adds handmade detail. Because blue chalcedony is a natural stone, variations in color, shape, and pattern give each handmade necklace its own unique character.

Size & Fit

This necklace measures 18 inches.  That is a princess length necklace which will fall at about you collarbone area.

The blue chalcedony pendant measures approximately 2 × 1.5 cm, with an additional 1.5 cm bail connecting it to the chain. Keep the pendant and bail in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since they extend below the length of the chain.  In this case about 3.5 cm lower.

Because the pendant is made from natural stone, it has more weight than a lightweight metal or resin or polymer pendant. This can help pull the necklace downward slightly and allow the pendant to hang more vertically.
