Solar Embers Necklace - Carnelian Agate Pendent Necklace

This handmade necklace features a natural carnelian stone wrapped with silver-colored copper wire and paired with a silver-colored stainless steel chain. The warm orange and amber tones of the carnelian contrast with the cool silver coloring for a simple design with rich natural color.

The 1.5 × 2 cm stone creates a noticeable focal point without being overly large, while the wire wrapping adds handmade detail. Because carnelian is a natural stone, variations in color, translucency, shape, texture, and pattern give each handmade necklace its own unique character.

This necklace measures 20 inches. This is a matinee-length necklace, which will typically fall below the collarbone and toward the upper chest, depending on your neck size and shape.

The carnelian stone measures approximately 1.5 × 2 cm. Keep the size of the stone in mind when considering where the necklace will fall, since the pendant will extend below the 20-inch chain.

Because the pendant is made from natural stone, it has more weight than a lightweight metal, resin, or polymer pendant. At 2 cm, it adds some weight to help the pendant hang vertically without being as heavy or bulky as a larger stone pendant.
